It reminds me a bit of People of Earth (helps that the bartender of The 59 was also on People of Earth) and that show was cancelled way too early.

I watched it when it was first on Peacock and enjoyed it. It's the scifi version of Reservation Dogs. Be warned, it ends on a cliffhanger and never comes back. Worth the watch though. Started watching this. I am enjoying it so far, only a few eps into Season 1. Alan Tudyk is really good in this, and honestly its a fantastic cast
